oh dear I think I messed up and pushed too hard
by Frazzled UBM inreading all the posts on the wt study on higher education and careers really fired me up yesterday.
i have 2 undergraduate and 2 postgraduate degerees and a career as a result which allows me to provide well for my jw wife and son.
i was already unhappy because after 5 or 6 weeks of not going and appearing to be making progress she went back on sunday for the second sunday in a row and as usual was away all day.

Tell your kids that you are their ticket to freedom. Tell your kids they can do, say, think, and experience anything they want in this world and you are going to help them achieve that. Tell them that their mom is stuck in a dangerous cult and you are going to help them have a normal life and experience everything they want in this world.
Show them by your actions that there are no limits. Show them by your actions that you are a man and you are not afraid of the ridiculous mind bending cult that their mom cannot get away from.
Everyone has their limits. Step up and be a man. Step up and speak your mind. Step up and say what you are thinking. If people were honest with each other, above all, this entire facaade would crumble. No question in my mind.
Stop the beating around the bush crap. Say what you think. Say what you feel. Let the chips fall. Be proactive. You are probably going to have a straw that breaks your back. Or you will just remain miserable for the rest of your life. Your choice.

they stopped celebrating christmas and birthdays, after my sister began studying with jw's about 6-7 years ago.
we did not celebrate either, until 3 years ago, when my son was 2 and my daughter was 4, and we'd figured out that the jw's are wrong about this decision.

so this morning i see a text from the co elder the one that met with me and is gunning to get me out and had already tried to get me to a jc meeting this week.
so the text reads "your wife has informed me of your letter and its sad to hear, would like to meet one last time not as a jc, to be sure this is what you want.".
